The Lalala Choir

Season 15 was due to kick off in early 2020, however due to COVID-19 restrictions in Dublin, we are on indefinite hiatus, so it will likely be much later. We'll keep you posted!

In the meantime, we are exploring the Fragments at Marsh's Library, composing new music and testing out some online singing techniques (Lalala Online) which we hope to open up to wider participation once we get a handle on things.

About The Lalala Choir

The Lalala Choir has been making their mark in Dublin since 2015 with a focus on improvisation and an

inclusive philosophy that says 'music is for everyone'.

Their interactive performances have graced stages, courtyards and fields alike at Electric Picnic,

Body&Soul, Ballymaloe Litfest, the Night of Choirs Festival (Hungary). They also produce their own

concerts and pop-up performances around the city, and regularly collaborate with other artists

(Ríona Sally Hartman, Glen Hansard, David Keenan, Inni-K, David Kitt, John Spillane to name a few).

While the group are used to putting their own spin on things, from Mozart operas to surf rock, they recently crossed the blurry line from improvisation to fully-fledged compositions.
