About the course:
Compose a piece of music for a choir, then hear The Lalala Choir perform it.

Ear-training: identifying intervals, from score and by ear

Transcription: write down music you hear and/or imagine

Polyphony: sing and play multi-part music at the keyboard

Harmony: identifying and playing chords from score and by ear

Rhythm: all of the above will include rhythm.. you can't avoid it; it's everywhere!
Course Content:
These courses will teach how to write your own music for multiple voices. No previous experience necessary, as you'll be able to tailor the work to your individual ability. By the end of of five weeks you'll have your own choral composition to show off; and if you're wondering what to do with it, later in the year we'll be running an open rehearsal with The Lalala Choir where you can hear your music sung by 50+ people (and maybe even lend a hand)!
